I THINK this is my Auntie Ree on the left, my Grandma in the center, and Auntie Del on the right. This would probably have been sometime in the mid-to-late 1930s, and I have a feeling this may have been taken in New York City, just from what’s in the background. In those days, especially at the height of the Depression, it was very uncommon to have a photo taken unless you were doing something or you were somewhere special.
