One of my newest short stories, “To Chance Tomorrow,” will be appearing in Wicked Seasons—the second New England Horror Writers anthology—this fall. Edited by Stacey Longo, the collection will feature an introduction by Jeff Strand (with whom I shared a Table of Contents in Western Legend Press’ Unnatural Tales of the Jackalope) and some other notables (see below); the cover art is being done by the amazing Mikio Murakami, a fine artist focusing on a blend of fantasy and the dark surreal whose done a great deal of work on CD covers, books, and issues of the magazine Shock Totem.
Wicked Seasons will include:
“Furious Demon” by Addison Clift
“The Basement Legs” by Robert DuPerre
“Hungry For More” by Michael Evans
“The Secret Backs of Things” by Christopher Golden
“Blood Prophet” by Scott Goudsward
“Three Fat Guys Soap” by Catherine Grant
“Chuffers” by Paul McMahon
“Spirits” by James A. Moore
“Bleedthrough” by Gregory Norris
“Lycanthrobastards” by Errick Nunnally
“To Chance Tomorrow” by Kristi Petersen Schoonover
“A Night at the Show” by Robert Smales
“The Girl Who Wouldn’t Break” by Lucien Spelman
“The Widow Mills” by Trisha Wooldridge
I will keep you posted on its release, but I believe it’s making its official debut at this year’s Anthocon, November 8 – 10, up in Portsmouth, NH (yes, I’ll be there).

Thanks, Carla! I’m really excited. The TOC has a lot of writers in it whose work I really enjoy.
