Earlier in the year, a fantastic horror writer named Kevin Lucia was finishing grad school and, on his blog, presented a fascinating 9-part series on the nature of horror. I fell in love with this series, and Kevin very graciously allowed me to reprint it here so others can enjoy it, too. The last installment appeared last Thursday.
