Can’t be in a warm spot? Let these books take you there!
As you’re reading this I’m on my way to Walt Disney World in Florida for a winter warm-up (if you’ve read SKELETONS IN THE SWIMMIN’ HOLE: TALES FROM HAUNTED DISNEY WORLD, then you probably know the World is my fave place to be!). And there’s news on that front: the book will be featured in the upcoming edition of A Horror Guide to Florida.
Recently I discovered that last March, SKELETONS was featured in THE MONSTER LIBRARIAN’S SPRING BREAK BOOKLIST for 2014. The list presents horror books set in Florida (and there are quite a few good ones on the list)…so if you can’t get there, pick one up, light a tropical candle, blast your heat and get ready for what we Disney Park fans call an “imagication.” http://www.monsterlibrarian.com/TheCirculationDesk/tag/kristi-petersen-schoonover/
If you’d rather “see” it than imagine it, here’s alist of horror movies filmed in Florida courtesy of writer and editor David Goudsward: https://goudsward.wordpress.com/2011/10/30/top-12-films-for-halloween-filmed-in-florida/
Many have asked if I’m going to be putting together a second Disney Parks-based collection, and the answer is yes — in fact, most of the stories for that are drafted, and will be undergoing the lengthy process of revision and polish beginning this fall (I have another project ahead of it). It’s hoped at this point that the second in the haunted Disney series will be available in 2016.

Actually, I ordered a copy of this from your website almost a year ago and never received it. =( Too bad, as I was really looking forward to it!
THAT’S not cool! I think I have your email in this comment post on my dashboard. I will send you an email tonight and we can coordinate not only getting you the book, but I will throw in some other stuff, too — a copy of my novel BAD APPLE and a few chapbooks. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience; I wasn’t aware. We’ll get it resolved.
Congratulations! It’s always great to hear that you are doing so well.
