Meet Stacy Horn…and read the Foreword for THE SHADOWS BEHIND

Stacy, Charles, me on Roosevelt Island

From left, Stacy Horn, my housemate, Charles, and me on Roosevelt Island, May 2018. Horn hosted a walking tour of the site following a signing event for her book, Damnation Island, at Astoria Bookshop in Queens, NY.

I was incredibly honored that Stacy Horn wrote the Foreword for my most recent collection, The Shadows Behind.

Stacy is the author of a number of books on fascinating subjects, including the asylums on NYC’s Roosevelt Island and the Duke Parapsychology Lab. Her book Cyberville, about one of the earliest (or THE first, I can’t recall) online communities—which she built—is still taught in classes about online culture. See the complete list of her books below.

You can visit Stacy on her blog here, and if you don’t have a copy of my book yet and would like to check out the Foreword, you can do that here: https://stacyhorn.com/2019/05/13/the-shadows-behind-by-kristi-petersen-schoonover/

You can get The Shadows Behind here.
