PS – How cute is this cake? Our local Shop Rite bakery in Brookfield, CT makes the BEST cakes (in fact, I use their bakery for every special event). Here’s close-ups of the whole thing. The cake is chocolate, with vanilla buttercream frosting, and his “fur” is toasted (I think, or it’s dyed) coconut.

 Also, he’s surrounded in the photo above my Vanilla Frosting Hershey’s Kisses. I’m not a fan of all the different kisses they make now, but these are definitely a win (especially if you’re a frosting junkie, like me).
