Danbury, CT AMC Theatres 2014 Winter Classics Schedule

The Princess Bride Cover

The AMC Movie Theatre in Danbury, Connecticut has been running a Classics Series for awhile, and they’ve just announced their Winter Classics schedule.

Why am I posting this? Because it’s my understanding that many AMC Theatres across the country are doing this, and yet I don’t read anything about it except in the theatre itself. I was shocked at the low attendances at films like Dirty Harry, The Shining, and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation—and the more I talked to people, the more I realized that it was because no one knew they were playing (many said, “oh! I’d have totally gone to see that if I’d known!”). So, if you live in the Danbury, Connecticut, area, here’s what’s coming up on the big screen this winter. If you don’t live in this area, contact your local AMC Theatre—or stop on by to pick up a schedule. And if they’re running a series? Tell your friends.

The Danbury, CT AMC Theatre is located at 61 Eagle Road (in the same parking lot as Best Buy). The ticket prices are the same as they’d be for regular films. The Classics Series Sunday showings are at 2pm; the Wednesday showings are at 2pm and 7pm. Don’t miss this chance to warm up your winter with a nostalgic trip down memory lane!
