Happy Christmas Eve! The Kindle Edition of Grinning Skull Press’ holiday horror anthology Colour Out of Deathlehem, which contains my story “Feeding the Babies” (if you know what Treevenge is, you’ll love this!) is now available—best of all, 100% of the $4.99 purchase goes to The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
This is a very worthy cause, and I worked long and hard on a brand new story just for you in the hopes that you’d all lend a hand!
The true spirit of Christmas is really in giving. If you’ve got $4.99 to spare, have a Kindle or the app on your phone or PC and love scary Christmas stories? Consider treating yourself while giving to someone else.
Edited by Harrison Graves and Michael Evans, here’s what’s in store:
Welcome back to Deathlehem, where…
…the holiday décor has a voracious appetite…
…your past can—and will—come back to haunt you…
…a one-night stand leads to an unexpected climax…
…a son brings home more than nightmares from his tour of duty…
…and many more!
… and twenty-four more tales of holiday horrors by several really wonderful writers–among them H.P. Lovecraft, and writers whose work we’ve published or are about to publish in 34 Orchard as well as some I personally know: Edward Ahearn, Kurt Newton, Tom Deady, Morgan Sylvia, and C.M Saunders.

If you’d like the book for your shelf, the paperback edition—100% of those proceeds also benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation—will be out soon, and I’ll keep you posted!

Thanks for the heads up. What a nice Christmas Eve surprise!
Merry Christmas!! I hope your day is wonderful.
I was so happy to see this released today. I didn’t know it was going to be out before the Holiday! I really love this project. This press has been doing this for many years, and I was so lucky my story was accepted, because I’ve always wanted to be part of it.
OMGosh, I just finished your story in The Colour Out of Deathlehem. It’s SO good. It’s freaky, too. And yet I “get” the mom. Awesome story. And I like the way you used so many sounds. It felt immersive.
OMGosh, thank YOU for reading it and for sharing your thoughts! I so respect your work, and I’m so glad you enjoyed this. I worked long and hard on this one–I mean, I work long and hard on EVERY one, but this one had some challenges. I think sound and smell are really important. I just get worried sometimes that I overdo it. Again, thank you!
🙂
